                           Biography

Stephanie Sawyer, at the age of 13, has a resume that reads like a seasoned veteran actress. She started her career at age one, doing TV commercials for children's department stores. This led to a national McDonald's commercial that caught the eye of a casting director, landing Stephanie a role on the NBC daytime drama, Days of our Lives.

Her work was noticed, resulting in her first film role as the female child lead in Hero of my Heart. This was followed up with a guest appearance on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, The Laurie Kellogg Story for NBC with Jennie Garth and leads in TV movies such as A Christmas Romance for CBS, in which Stephanie played Olivia Newton-John's daughter and Prison of Secrets, for the Lifetime Network where she co-starred with Stephanie Zimbalist and Gary Frank She has also starred in two music videos, one for David Bowie and the other for 10,000 Maniacs

Stephanie co-starred at the age of 6 with Meryl Streep in the feature film, The River Wild followed up with a co-starring role with Gail O'Grady in Trial By Fire.

At the age of 9 Stephanie guest starred on ER opposite George Clooney, and The Pretender with Michael Weiss.

In 1998, Stephanie was cast for two lead roles, one called Splitsville and the other The Last Great Ride, starring Ernest Borgnine and Eileen Brenner. Stephanie also has lent her voice to the animated feature films Prince of Egypt and Tarzan.

Stephanie lives in Southern California with her family and dog, Newman, a blue eyed Australian Shepherd. She attends performing arts school and participates in many extra circular activities, such as jazz dance, pom, skiing, horseback riding, swimming in her pool, and singing. Stephanie is a straight A student who wants to attend college on the East coast at Yale.  She loves playing dolls with her friends and collecting beanie babies. Her most favorite thing to do is going to plays and musicals, especially in New York.
